The wire is Tinned Music-Wire Torsion Straightened. This is very strong wire that makes the bottom bouncer work better and does not bend as easily as stainless steel.

A quick change bottom bouncer is a single arm bottom bouncer that attaches to a heavy duty quick change clevis on your fishing line. Using a quick change bottom bouncer is simple to use. First feed you fishing line through the nose of the quick change clevis and then tie on a snap swivel. (I include 2 per order). Snap the desired weight on to the quick change clevis and attach a crawler harness or your desired lure combination to the snap swivel and you are ready to fish. The snap swivel will prevent the quick change bottom bouncer from sliding down to your harness. There are several advantages to using a quick change bottom bouncer. To name just a few: 1. To vary the length of your leader, slide the quick change bottom bouncer up the line from the snap swivel to the desired leader length than put on a small split shot to stop the quick change bottom bouncer from sliding down your line. This prevents you from having to tie up various lengths of harnesses. 2. Another advantage of the quick change bottom bouncer is the ability to change weights easily. Simply unclip the weight from the quick change clevis and clip on a lighter or heavier weight. No need to remove your lure!! 3. One of the best advantages of the quick change bottom bouncer is the ability to give the fish more line without having the fish feel the weight of the bottom bouncer. The line will slide through the quick change clevis leaving the weight where it is. This will allow you to feel the fish more and have a direct line to the fish.
